No Awareness about Awareness!!!

One day, a frog that lives at the bottom of a shallow well speaks in high spirits to a fish of the Sea.

“My life in the well is really a joy! When I jump out of the well, I climb onto the outside rail. When I return, I rest in a crack inside the well. As I swim, the well water covers my armpits but my head rests on it. Playing in the mud, I bury my feet in it. Look at the cockles, crabs, and toads around me—who lives as happily as I do? Furthermore, this well is my own territory, serving my own enjoyment. What a wonderful life this is. Why don’t you come in to see for yourself?”

At the frog’s invitation, the fish prepares to enter the well. The fish retreats to the good side and starts to speak to the frog about the sea.

“How big is the sea? Even a thousand miles would not describe its breadth; ten thousand feet would not describe its depth. Not to be affected by the passage of time or wax and wane of the tide—thus is the great joy of living in the Sea. Sea is very very large in size you can’t even imagine”

Hearing about the sea, the frog is shocked. It starts to sense the smallness of its own life in the well. He asked fish with his hands that sea is that much large? Fish replied no, then frog asked the wall outside the well and another side of the wall, this distance can measure the length of sea. Fish replied no. It’s very very big.He said to fish that you are a liar. Nothing can be as big as you are describing. Because there is nothing beyond this wall.frog was right at his place and fish is right at her place. But if frog assumes that may be whatever fish is saying right? But he did not assume and declared that fish is wrong completely.

Now you can realize that you had to spend so much of your time focusing your attention on a very little thing and was missing out on the bigger picture of anything.I think we all do it.We get so caught up in thinking about our own problems, challenges or mistakes, that we ignore the possibilities all around us. Just like the frog thought he had something special because he never ventured out beyond his little well. Until the fish came along and opened up his mind to greater possibilities.

Just one new piece of information can completely alter a person’s perspective of who they are and what they’re capable of.Get out of your well to explore, learn and grow.If you’d really like to blow open your awareness of what’s possible the Be aware of every single second of your life.

Awareness is the ability to know and perceive, to feel, or to be cognizant of events on the level of your mind, body, and soul.More broadly, it is the state of being conscious in every single movement of life. When problems of daily life are not discussed, they remain in the unconscious mind and are never understood but they are making you restless and depressed without knowing any reason. There is three level of awareness mind, body, and soul.

Factors such as stress, unhealthy diet, and strained relationships can all influence the balance that exists between a person’s physical and mental health. These unbalanced energies, in turn, leave that person with sickness, tiredness or making a person lethargic.

Be Aware of the level of your Body

One method to make your body aware is oil pulling.Oil pulling originated in ancient India by sages as part of natural healing practices which is described in ancient Ayurveda texts.Ayurvedic oil pulling system is a holistic system of medicine that was formed around 3,000 to 5,000 years ago. The oral health practices of Ayurveda like chewing on sticks of herbs and eating herbs, as well as oil pulling. After wake up in the morning, you can do the oil pulling with coconut oil or sesame oil. This charge up your body immediately. For this process Put 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil into the mouth.Swish for 20 minutes.Spit oil into the trash can.Rinse well with lukewarm water and Brush well. Stretching body and exercise a little make body more aware. Follow some morning ritual. I will write about some effective morning ritual in my future post.

Be Aware At The level of Mind

The practice of making your mind aware begins with concentration and observation. To observe is to notice and examine dispassionately without judgment or interpretation. The key to effective observation is detachment a dispassionate objectivity that unlinks what is observed from meaning. Meaning whenever any problem or situation occurs be detached like you are a third person and then observe everything what is going on and what is the best solution.one other method is to eat according to Ayurveda to make mind strong. Our mind is made of the food we take in daily life.In the Ayurvedic system, food is associated with medicine.Eat your food as your medicines. Otherwise, you have to eat medicines as medicine. In an Ayurvedic system of food intake rules, are: Food Should Be Freshly cooked warm which helps to stimulate digestive fire.Little oil in food is a must for better digestion.Food Must Be Taken In Proper Quantity according to persons age, work and need.Eat only when the previous meal is properly digested.Avoid Contradictory Food. For example, combining sour fruits with milk will curd and is not considered beneficial due to poor food combining and incompatibility of the ingredient. One should not eat when feeling nervous, angry, anxious, or in a disturbed state of mind as it leads to emotional eating.Eating too slowly or too rapidly along with eating while talking, laughing, thinking or watching television is also not advisable in Ayurveda. Pay Attention To Your Food While Eating and do not watch TV or do anything else like planning your day or thinking about someone.Do Not Eat Food Which Is too Hot Or too Cold as it affects your digestive fire.

Be aware At the level of Soul

The whole concept of spiritual awareness isn’t all about connecting with a higher divine power, but also connecting with nature and yourself. For making yourself aware at the level of soul you must do some yoga.

  1. Ah, understanding what Nassim Taleb calls the “unknown unknown”. It’s what made Socrates a wise man, being aware of the fact that he is ignorant. 🙂

  2. I enjoyed this post. It is very interesting the way you are able to wind up the story to have us think a frog and a fish actually are talking. I have never thought about things this way. Thank you !!

  3. Awareness: to see it all, as it is, at once, cannot be done within the small confines of the physical senses. A soul must reach out and become One with the All, with everything. There are a lot of practices to do this. Some of the methods you mention are fascinating. I agree with the balance of the foods. Not too many get that one. Ceasing one’s striving and being integral to the whole is another.
