There is only need to make perfect or you can say better relationship is Understanding. But the definition of understanding is that rising above the level of proving someone wrong and your self right. Most of the time people try to prove their point to other person and say they didn’t want to understand their point. But this is not actual understanding. Understand that you both are same because you both trying to prove your point is right but only surface level there may be some differences. If you want to make your relationship better than before then must be understand things or situations yourself only and never try to prove your point. If you are not ready to be proved wrong then you are not ready to make better relationship. If you are a scientist, you must be above from the level of right and wrong to discover something new because it is impossible with fixed mind of right and wrong things. This thinking of you are always right or some things are always right, pulls you back and limit your intelligence. By observing someones behaviour you can easily know them what kind of person they are and what things they didn’t like. This makes relationships far better than before.
You Can’t take your relationship forgranted even for a single day!!
Most people are too busy thinking of what they want to say next to really listen to what the other person is saying. But this is very wrong way if you want to improve something. Start listening and stop arguing. We naturally bond with people who really listen, hear us, and that we’d want to spend time with.Words of affirmation like appreciating person will meet that need in many individuals. Spending quality time with person helps to observe the person to handle better. There are tremendous benefits to helping the person in his/her work, fulfill the emotional needs of person as action speaks louder than words always.

Heartily agree! Dialogue must involve respect, and respect only comes from listening and shutting off our own ‘arguments.’ We may agree to disagree and even be passionate about it, but without listening we can never understand (and dear Lord, we can’t judge anyway!) what each individual is saying and feeling.

We all probably do this once in a while, but it’s better to just not even have the conversation than do it.

Excellent post. I find especially relevant, “Start listening and stop arguing.” If people would only adhere to that rule!

In a relationship, each person should put the needs of the other person ahead of his/her own. That way, each one gets their needs met, without selfishness. The key is to understand the other person. Have you read the book The Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman? It’s very helpful to understand HOW to love other people and learn their language.
Blessings to you…
