Atma-karaka – the planet of the soul

The planet with the highest degree in the natal chart.

Atma-karaka – an indicator of karmic destiny, the level of a person’s soul, desires and talents

He teaches through suffering, as a person through suffering turns to higher knowledge and begins to work on himself.

Periods and sub-periods of the planet – Atma-karakas are often emotionally difficult for this reason.

However, if a person has a penchant for spirituality, a strong faith, then the difficult period of the Atma-karaka can become very favorable.

It is believed that if the Atma-karaka-planet is a malefactor, then the native has a higher spiritual level of development.

Virtues: thirst for knowledge, scholarship.
