Change Habits Change Life

‘Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.’

Small choices + consistency + time = significant results.

When you’re not really happy about your life, but you’re not unhappy enough to do anything about it. Then this compound effect formula doesn’t work for you. The compound effect is like an operating system that has been running in whole your life whether you know it or not. For example, if you have a small habit of reading for 10 minutes in a day daily, then you read lots of things at year end and you did not realize that how much information you feed in your brain. This will helpful knowledge if you read good books. Take some other example if you started eating a burger daily, you did not see the difference in some weeks maybe but after one year you can see how you increase your weight unconsciously. You don’t need more knowledge to change your lifestyle for making the better life, You need a new plan of action. Make a stupid goal that chances of failure are zero.Like if you want to start pushups daily then start 2 pushups daily for 1 week you can easily do 2 pushups daily. Every week you can increase 2 or more pushups and at the year end, you developed a good habit which helps you make your health good.

Consistency is the ultimate key to success. What you appreciate, appreciate so start enjoying after you achieve a small strip goal at the month end. This gives a signal of achievement to your brain and motivates it to do more. You alone are responsible for your situation. Understand it and make a plan for the year and set small stupid goals and increase them monthly or weekly then you will be able to see results at year-end but don’t wish to see the result soon as compound results take a long time with the sure result.Everyone has the opportunity to be lucky, If you live in a free society, you are lucky. You are free to make small changes in your life.

Let’s take another example, Start by saving 1% of your money each month, then save 2% next month. Continue until you are saving 10%of what you earn. The earlier you start making changes the more the compound effect works in your favor. At end of the day ask yourself: are you learning each day?Your life is a result of your moment to moment choices. The most motivating choices are ones that align with your “why” and your purpose. Make a why sheet whenever you distract read that sheet but that why must be super strong.

Identify your triggers for your bad habits: the what are they and that prompts you to start your bad habits. Start by eliminating your triggers one by one.

The hardest and strongest part of momentum is the beginning.
With momentum, you can continue succeeding with less work. It’s easy to keep things running.“Anyone can fall in love. Falling in love is easy. Staying in love takes real work.”

The world already has tons of knowledge. You don’t need to learn more. What you need is to study, to practice, and to take action on the knowledge you have.

The compound effect is the strategy of reaping huge rewards from small, seemingly insignificant actions.Always take 100 percent responsibility for everything that happens to you.

Set a goal, break it down into small goals, monitor daily habits by making a checklist if you wish, build momentum, level up. It is very Simple and Basic But efficient as ever. Just try it!!

  1. You have written some very good advice in this post – I am forwarding it on to my daughter, who I think will enjoy it too. Thanks for reading and liking several of my posts. We spent last weekend in El Carrizal, and it was just as wonderful as every other time…friendly people, perfect weather, breathtakingly beautiful scenery, good food!
